Many aspire to be the top leader—¡ÈI want to be the president, CEO, etc¡É—yet the reality is that most people will never be the top leader.
People should strive for the top of their game and not the top of organization. We should work to reach our full potential not the top position. Sometimes you can make the greatest impact from somewhere other than first place. A good example of this is Vice President of USA. He had an excellent political career, which was good enough to run for president yet knew that top position is not his best role. He was a person who could work anywhere and had a great way of fitting in and working his environment. He is a 360 degree leader—someone who knows how to influence others from whatever position he finds himself in.

The work behind the scenes may go unnoticed, but without the contribution of these people, the top leaders will not be able to function as well as they do. Their contribution influences positively to the whole team.
What can we do then?
We can be faithful in what we have now no matter how small or big the tasks are and practice our leadership where we are at. It is not only up to the top leaders to impact the team, but it is for every single person on the team who finds their potential in their given position. This will be the key force for the team to move forward onto a new level.
